Turta dulce calut / Horse gingerbread

Iata o reteta de care m-am atasat rapid. E usor de facut, este buna si dupa cateva zile si in plus imi aduce aminte de biscuitii pe care-i primeam de Craciun.
Formele pentru turta dulce au o semnificatie aparte. Sunt caluti Dala. Acesta este felul meu de a-i multumi sorei mele (care se afla in Suedia) pentru frumosul dar de Craciun pe care deja l-am primit azi prin posta. De asemenea calutii sunt si pentru persoanele dragi noua din Suedia :).

Ingrediente turta dulce:
– 100 g unt
– 200 ml lapte
– 200 g miere
– 400 g faina
– nucsoara
– scortisoara
– cuisoare
– 1 lingurita bicarbonat

Ingrediente glazura simpla:
– apa
– zahar pudra
– zeama de lamaie
– colorant alimentar

Here is a recipe that became rapidly one of my favorites. It’s easy to make, it’s good after few days and brings back memories about the biscuits that I was receiving at Christmas when I was little. 
The baking forms have a special signification. These are Dalecarlian horse or Dala horse (Swedish: Dalahäst). 
This is my way of saying thank you to my sister (she lives in Sweden) for the nice Christmas present that came today with the Post. The horses are also for our dear friends in Sweden 🙂 . 
Ingredients for gingerbread:
– 100 g butter
– 200 ml milk
– 200 g honey
– 400 g flour
– nutmeg
– cinnamon
-cloves
– 1 teaspoon of baking soda
 
Ingredients for simple icing:
– water
– powdered sugar
– lemon zest
– alimentary colors

Se amesteca mierea cu untul si cu laptele caldut.

We mix honey, butter and warm milk.

Adaugam nucsoara, scortisoara si cuisoarele pisate.

We add nutmeg, cinnamon and minced cloves.

Se adauga faina si bicarbonatul. Consistenta trebuie sa fie cea din poza.

We add the flour and baking soda. The consistency of the composition has to be the one from the photo.

Se pune compozitia in formele tapetate cu faina si se baga in cuptorul preincalzit. Se coc la foc mediu pana cand trec testul scobitorii.

We put the composition in the baking forms in which we put some flour. We’ll bake them at medium temperature until they pass tooth stick test.
 

In final preparam glazura. Punem 3-4 linguri de apa, colorant si 1 lingura de zeama de lamaie. Adaugam zahar pudra pana cand obtinem o pasta de consistenta smantanei. Se pune cu ajutorul unui sprit pe turta dulce.
In the end we prepare the icing. We put 3-4 tablespoons of water, color and 1 tablespoon of lemon zest. We add powdered sugar until we’ll obtain a paste with the consistency of a fresh cream. We put it with a tip and a bag.
